Cecílie Jílková (born in Prague in 1981) is a Czech writer and singer, daughter of writers Ludvík Vaculík and Lenka Procházková, granddaughter of writer Jan Procházka. After her first novel, Cesta na Drromm (2010), feuilletons for Lidové noviny, articles for the medical magazine Sanquis and scripts for the TV series Kriminálka Anděl, she has devoted the next ten years mainly to the topic of healthy eating and has published four books on the subject, two of which became bestsellers. She returned to prose with her latest literary work, Father God and Mother Love (SPM Media, 2024). She publishes on the platform Substack and is a contributor to the Michael Shellenberger’s Public. Cecílie lives in Prague.
